As all of you are aware, our friend, colleague, teacher, and overall person we like to tease, was diagnosed with colon cancer. As a way to communicate with everyone that loves her so dearly, I've created her a blog. This will enable all who are interested to check up on Judi daily or semi-weekly.
After reading what Judi has posted for the day or week, you should see a link at the bottom of the post/page that says, "comments." Please click this link and give her your well wishes. If you have any questions, please note them on the comments or email me at kinziel@delphi.k12.in.us.
Please pray for Judi for her strength, understanding, and patience. Please pray for the doctors for wisdom, perseverance, and their patience working with Judi! :)
I know that Judi has had some many calls from well-meaning friends and family. Maybe this is a way to see how she's doing throughout this process without us talking to her in person.
As of now, she plans to be at school tomorrow unless the doctor could see her for bloodwork.
Thank you for commenting for Judi!

Hi, Judi! Just writing you a note to say "You kick ASS, girl"! We haven't seen each other for years and this blog came up on the CCC prayer list thanks to Pastor Bill. I will keep posted and pray for you during the ass-kicking that you are going to give this cancer!

Hey Judi,
ReplyDeleteI just saw a picture of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. Is this the type of house you have in mind? I've been there, you would look good in that house and it's located in the mountains so the beaver coat would come in handy at times! :) Get your checkbook out indeed!!! Good luck and if you need anything at all please don't hesitate to say the word (I know you will)!

Judi,
ReplyDeleteThe saying "pain in the ass" has taken on a new meaning, huh? Cancer does not define you...it refines you. It helps you realize all the trivial things are just that-trivial, and it makes you distinguish that which is truly important. Focus on living, but don't forget to live. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones.

Judi,
ReplyDeleteMy prayers are with you and your family during this rough time in your life. You have been put on the list at our church of people to pray for (Living Faith Church of the Brethren, between Delphi & Flora). Prayer is a very powerful tool. I usually only get to talk to you when we are working on the art show but, you have been on my mind a lot this past week. Go get 'em, Judy, KICK SOME ASS!!!

Judi,
ReplyDeleteI want you to know BIG Prayers going out from Cincy EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!!! We're totally rooting for you and know you can kick ass-cancer's ass!!!!!! I'm thinking your first 6 weeks might be up just in time to take a little recovery at the lake in Georgia-just a thought! Hang tough little lady, We LOVE YOU! Peg and Big Jim xoxoxoxoxo
Hey little sis, big sis here but not biggest sis or should I say oldest sis (that's Jackie)! Just wanted to say hi and tell you we love you. Also remind you (not that you didn't know cause you are the smart one - look at all those degrees) that there are a tremendous amount of people rooting for you to "kick colon cancers ass". I'm sure you know by the responses that you will never be without someone being with you in person, thoughts or prayers. Take solace that we will be there and take this walk together like we did as kids only this time there will be more of us, kinda like a small army. Remember when we were little and one of us couldn't do something on their own it just took the support of the others to make it happen. Keep positive - there are a lot of us here to support you and being positve allows great things to happen. Sweet dreams and see you tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteLove Jane
